Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The original photograph was taken on a western United States highway. Hopefully, the truckers feeding American consumerism can appreciate the beauty of the land as they roar through its remote highways - before they are replaced by robotics. But then perhaps they will have time to spend exploring the land at their own pace...
